Home Help Program provides dependable home care services to individuals across the state of Michigan, funded by Michigan Medicaid.

Most participants qualify for up to 180 hours of Home Help Care each month, with additional hours available for approval based on individual care needs.

The Michigan Home Help Program, administered by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), offers funding for eligible individuals to hire caregivers who assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs).

This program is designed to support individuals who want to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes rather than transitioning to adult foster care, homes for the aged, or nursing facilities. It provides essential support for elderly individuals, disabled persons, and others with specialized care needs—all covered by the Michigan Medicaid Program.
