Laundry and light housekeeping
Meal preparation and cleanup

Services for Minor Children
The Michigan Home Help Program is not just for adults—it also provides services for minor children. These services are available when a child has significant physical, medical, emotional, or mental impairments that require higher levels of intervention than typically needed by children of the same age.
Supplemental Care: Personal care services supplement usual parental care and are justified by the child’s unique needs.
Caregiver Flexibility: If parents are unable to provide care due to a medical condition, employment, or education, another caregiver can be hired to perform activities such as ADLs, medication administration, and meal preparation.
Important Note: Parents cannot be paid caregivers for their minor children.
